Each year, Southern Governors identify a number of priority legislative issues on which they would like to work together at the Federal level. In addition to these legislative priorities, SGA’s general policies address a number of subject areas that have an important bearing on the South including, communications and broadband, the economy and economic trends, tourism, workforce development, health IT, wellness, infrastructure, foster care, HIV/AIDS treatment, energy production and natural resources.
