Weather and Attire

Weather at The Greenbrier in August is generally sunny and warm with an average temperature in the 80s. A light jacket may be appropriate for evening activities and for air-conditioned meeting rooms.

For plenary sessions held at The Greenbrier, resort casual attire is suggested (jackets/ no ties). For Saturday evening’s social event, the attire is smart casual (jeans with golf or button-front shirts are appropriate). For Sunday evening’s State Dinner, the attire is black tie optional.
